Hi All,

Have a problem.

I have Backup Exec 12.5 installed onto SBS2008 with Exchange 2007

All working OK.

Have the e-mail alerts setup in a similar fashion as to how it was setup on an SBS2003 server with Exchange 2003.

However the alerts are not being received internally or externally.

Obviously something in Exchange 2007 not configured to allow the alerts to be delivered.

Anyone any ideas on how to go about this ?

We have the same problem on two SBS 2008 Servers with Backup Exec 12.5....
Any solution?

Edit: The solution is to set the smtp server to 127.0.0.1 . Knowledge Base Article would be fine :(

Jörg

I just had a client update me

I just had a client update me to say he fixed this by sorting out the Spam Filter that is part of the Exchange installation on his SBS server - which appears to be another cause of the issue.
