Hi all,
I have setup a Synthetic backup policy. Every day, Mon to Sun, i have an incremental of a file server taken. Every Friday, i have a Full Synthetic run, to compile all of these incremental into one Synthetic backup. I have a rule at the moment that says 'If start times conflict, Daily Incremental will start, and upon completion starts weekly Synthetic.' This is to ensure the incremental is complete before the Full synthetic is done.
However, what happens if the Weekly synthetic is not finished before the following days incremental begins?
Is it ok to have a daily incremental running at the same time a Weekly synthetic? Will BE allow this to happen, or do i need to create a rule that stops this from happening.
