Backup Exec 2010
Updated: 02 Aug 2010 | 11 comments
Are there any release notes and or documented new features aside from DeDup which has already been publisized?
I am also interested to know if 2010 will support Multi-Threading and/or Multi-Plexing or is that also an only NetBackup feature?
Thanks!

New Features
I've seen all of that already - most of it talks about things I am not interested. It is more the smaller things which don't make the front web pages that I am looking to know about.

Er, OK...but Symantec aren't going to announce the features before they've announced the availability of the Beta. We will all have to wait for that, and more information will surely follow.

That's the link to the Early Adopter Program
Hello Albert - that's the link to the Early Adopter Program, which is an extension of our Beta programs. And yep, it's a real, honest-to-goodness, pre-release (but not final) version of Backup Exec 2010, provided for testing puposes to the Early Adopter community.
If you are interested in participating in the Early Adopter Program, follow the link you list there and apply - we're always interested in new progam participants!

You would find it with the software, the admin guide is on the ISO.
You can probably get the admin guide now on the support site.
Requirements from a minimal stance, are ALWAYS posted on the symantec.com product pages, under a section called "requirements."
