Backup Exec 2010 backing up server in DMZ - port rules
Created: 08 Jan 2013 | Updated: 09 Jan 2013 | 1 comment
This issue has been solved. See solution.
I've found many entries in the forum and KB which mention the ports required, but none that mention the direction of the rules. Can someone please advise the direction (ie from media server to remote server, from remote server to media server, or bidirectional) for these rules?

They are all bi-drectional. You don't have to worry about the last one (MSSQL) because this is for communications with th BEDB if it is defined on another server other than the media server.
