Backup Exec 2010 R2 Duplicate Backup policy

This issue has been solved. See solution.
Hi All,
I have a backup to tape and then duplicate the same backup set to another tape using a duplicate policy. The reason being the 1st set is for onsite restore and the other set is for offsite storage.
In the event if I eject the 1st set of tapes before the 2nd duplicate job ends, will it affect the 2nd duplicate job? In other words, what I really want to know is does a duplicate job get its backup data set from the 1st backup job or does it pull the data from the client again?
I am asking this because when the collection guys come to transport our duplicate tapes offsite, normally the duplicate jobs have not been completed yet.
Regards,
ck

Not from client
BE will use the first set of tapes for duplicating the data to second set of tapes. It will not be pulling data again from client.
You should have a minimum of two tape drives to perform Tape to Tape duplicates and the first set of tapes are required through out the process of duplicating to other set of tapes.

As Kiran says, a duplicate
As Kiran says, a duplicate job is a duplicate of a media set, so it contains another copy of the backup.
