Hello,

I was wondering if anyone have experience with the SQL Agent, running on Backup Exec 2010 R3, Windows Server 2008
Is SQL Express supported with the SQL Agent?

Yes SQL express is supported, for list of supported version refer to the below link.

EDIT; SQL express 2005 - 2008 SP2 are supported by BE2010 R3

Open up BE and go too Tools --> Install licenses and agents on this server (I think it's called that), and select the agent you want to trial. Run through the wizard and you've got a 60-day trial to test with...
