This issue has been solved. See solution.
Hello,
I try to backup VMs thanks to Agent for Vmware Virtual Infrastructure 2010.
So, i followed the instructions in the administrator guide.I added my Vsphere to the Vmware servers selection (with "root "connection) and i get an error message when I test this selection:
"Unable to find the folder or file, or to access to it" (sorry it's a french translation, it might not be the exact message in the english version...)
Anybody got that?
Do I need to add some rights anywhere?
Can you help me?
Thanks in advance,
David

Hi David,
Patch your Backup Exec 2010 installation if you haven't alread, and then try again.
I take it you have the AVVI license installed?

Hi Craig,
thanks for your reply.
I panicked too quickly. In fact, the connection error was due to the fact that there was no agent INSIDE the VM. The backup goes well, but there is no GRT and the connection with the agent is not possible (of course, there is none).
Sorry for that...
David
