Backup Exec 2012 beremote.exe

All backup jobs was hang yesterday on BE2012. The following error was found in windows event viewer.

Do anyone know the cause and the solution?

Hello Steven,

    Could you try to figure it out which jobs would be running when the beremote service crashed.

We have seen lately that this is happening during Vmware backups.

Hi,

 

Have you tried to reinstall the RAWS agent on the affected server? If a media server, you can try a repair of BE 2012 through Add/Remove Programs.

Also make sure that your media server and any remote servers are all fully patched.

This can happen if an AV scans the beremote.exe service and blocks it, or a corruption in the RAWS agent installation itself for example.

The error was happend on media server (BE 2012). 

I have installed all latest patches on media server.

AV has exclude 1)beremote.exe and 2) disk storage/deduplication storage  for storing backup.

Is Backup Exec /RAWs fully updated with all HFs ? And would you pls post (or PM me) the crash dump which can be located in \Program Files\Symantec\Backup Exec\BEDBG
