Backup exec 2012 File System Archiving option and deduplication option

Hello ,
I have to configure a File System Archiving option and Deduplication option In my company ;
and this is first time that i configure those options,so i need to know
how do i proceed to set up this options
what is best practice for those options
can i duplicate  a deduplicated data on to tape and do my granulare restore as i was normal data (not deduped)
what is the adequat storage do i need to configure (disk,tape) .

please help i m really confiused.

The best place to start is the Admin Guide which can be found in the BE installation directory.

Yes. You can duplicate the dedup-ed backup sets to tape and do GRT from the tape backup sets.  Note that the dedup-ed backup sets would be rehydrate before they are written to tape.  Also, when you do GRT restores from tape, the tape backup sets would be staged onto disk before the actual restore begins.

thans for your response (brillant as alawys pkh),but in archiving option it does'nt support creating vault directly into tape .??it support only backup to disk (vault storage)???

Yes.  You can only create vaults on disks, not tape.
