backup exec 2012 installation

hi ,
we are using the backup exec 2102 and we have installed the central console with typical installtion in one machine. but we are not able to connect the tape drive to the machine
so we decided to install media server on another machine. we are in need of install two media server which are located at different places in the same lan segment. is it possible to manage the two tape drives from the the central console.

Hi,
You can do this in 1 of 3 ways:
1. Using 1 server, you can connect to another server by changing the server name...
2. Use the BE Remote Console that you can install on a workstation (works very well and it is free...see the article below:
3. Load the Enterprise Server Option which has CASO on another server (needs a full installation of BE 2012) and from 1 pane of glass you can manage your environment. This is a licensed option and is overkill for 2 servers, unless you need to duplicate backups between the 2 servers.
