Backup Exec 2012 Jobs
Created: 15 Oct 2012 | 2 comments
In our trial for Backup Exec 2012, we noticed under jobs that there 2 jobs by default (full and incremental). I am unable to delete any of the jobs, I’m always obliged to run both jobs or to hold one of the job to be able to run one successfully. is this how it is supposed to work?
Thanks

You can delete the incremental job. Edit your job, click on the Edit button on the right-hand pane and you will see this
Click on the X next to the incremental and it will be deleted.
You cannot delete the full backup because you need to run a full backup before you run either an incremental or a differential backup. The full backup can run by itself without an incremental or a differential backup.
