Hello,

We have a CASO server that manages W2K and W2K3. We would like to installing the 2012 CASO to manage our W2K8 servers.

What are the requirements and procedures to install the CASO server on a W2K8R2x64?

First of all please ensure when you would start using BE 2012 as CASO server you no longer cannot manager win2000 server please check the SCL below

Thank you for your information, very helpfull.

This is the first time I am working with Backup Exec. Now, I have the task in installing a new CASO server in a wndnows 2008. Also, I will install backup exec 2012 on several Windows 2008 servers and have it managed by CASO. There is a learning curve, lots of unknown about the product and I would like to utilize all available functions within.BE.
