Can you tell me what the following tape icon means?

There is no tape icon showing .

Here you are, my apologies:

It's the squiggle on Slot 9.

...the BE 2010 icon glossary shows the same icon, but with a red squiggle. This means that the media is overwritable...this must mean somethng similar!

          That icon represents a tape that has no data written to it

 

Edit.. 

 

 I believe that craig is correct in that the icon means that the media is overwritable

Donald: I know there is/was an Idea floating around about a glossary for BE 2012 (like with BE 2010)...has this been actioned?

Unfortunately Craig as far as i know of it has not... I will be looking into when/if this will be published... I will let you know as soon as i hear something
