Backup Exec 2012 stuck on updating catalogs

I have four jobs that are stuck on Updating Calalogs. Three have been 'Updating Calalogs" for 12 hours now and the other for a day and a half. Why would this be happening and is my only recourse to cancel the jobs?

A little more information:  

  • What type of jobs are these (GRT, Deduplication, Sharepoint) ?
  • Are the Backup Exec services still running?
  • Have all the Backup Exec Live updates been installed?
  • Is this the first time these jobs have done this?

Have you updated to BE 2012 SP2? if not, do so, push-install the updates out to any remote servers you may have, and then post back with an update after the next backup run.
