Backup Exec 2012 - VMware backup errors
Hi,
Until recently I have had nothing but successful backups from our VM environment through BE2012, however on monday all but one of my virtual backup jobs failed with the same error;
Backup- Backupserver
Insufficient memory available.
I ran the job again during the day using SGmon to capture debug info and have the following output;

Are these GRT enabled backups ? What sort of storage is being used & do you get the same error when backing up via the remote agent ?
Hi,
They are GRT enabled backups, the storage being used to backup is a local disk array setup as RAID 5, and I am using de-duplication storage on this volume.
I haven't tried a backup of the data yet, I can try, but it seems odd that of my 6 different jobs running from the virtual center, 5 of them fail with the error mentioned but one of them work as normal.
I'll try a data backup using the remote agent as you suggested and let you know what happens.
Regards
Adam
Update:
I have run a local data backup from the same server that I reffered to in the original post and this works, however at about 1/10th the speed that the virtual server GRT backup was running (before it stopped working!)
