Backup Exec 2012 with vray - Error 0xe0009585

Created: 18 Dec 2013 | 2 comments

I have backup exec 2012 with vray option on a windows 2003 with an Ibm library connected in FC.

The media server is on a rack and it is connected to the esx (on an other rack) by ethernet and the esx have its VMs on his SAN.

On the esx I have something like 20 or 30 VMs that was been replicated in the past. Some of them was been copied without problems but on some I have the following error:

VixDiskLib_Open() reported the error: You do not have access rights to this file

The VMs I am trying to copy are all powered off.

With a simple ssh root@esx I have seen that the unix permissions are ok (be2012 as root account to copy from esx)

Also I have copied some vmdk disks by scp (cp over ssh) successfully.

Where is the problem ???
