hi ALL,

I'm using Symantec Backup Exec 12.5 which was installed on 2k3 32bit machine. Exchange server 2010 was installed on 2k8 64bit machine.
Is this possible to backup exchange 2010 with SBE 12.5? and how?

Thanks

One more problem

Can I upgrade directly from Backup Exec 12.5 to 2010?
As above post, my SBE was installed on 2k3 32bit machine, Exchange 2010 was install on another server (2k8 64bit).  So in case I can upgrade to SBE 2010, will backup Exchange run smoothly? because I've heard that SBE 2010 "must" install on a Microsoft Windows 2008 SP2 64-bit media server or a Microsoft Windows 2008 R2 64-bit media server.

Thanks

You will need to have a 64bit

You will need to have a 64bit Backup Exec server too when trying to restore a 64bit Exchange server.

There is an online portal, save yourself the long hold times. Create ticket online, then call in with ticket # in hand :-) http://mysupport.symantec.com "We backup data to restore, we don't backup data just to back it up."
