Backup-exec is exceeding the limit of cleaning Mounts that is defined on the slot by the user

Hello All,
Wanted to share a Scenario, Backup-exec 2010 R3 Sp2 + Hotfixes installed on Server 2008 R2, Customer has defined 6 Cleaning slots within backup-exec and in the Proprties he had defined maximum number of cleanings=80, but backup-exec is not able to control that limit thats specified, instead of that the cleaning jobs are exceeding than the limit specified, in this case the number of cleanings that have been performed is 162 where as the limit set is 80.
Was wondering whether Backup-exec is Acknowleding that limit that is set by the user.

Be advised that although you are able to designate multiple cleaning slots backup exec only actually recognizes the first. The allocated maximum number of cleanings entered into that field should prevent backup exec from requesting it be used past this defined number. Remove/undesignate the additional designated slots, replace cleaning tape, reset number of cleanings and monitor. The additaional cleaning slots may be causing B.E. to perform outside of the way it was intended in relation number of alloted cleanings.

Additionally please take a look at the configuration of the library and confirm that it it not set to automatically clean itself out side of backup exec. These cleanings are reported to backup exec and may cause the number of cleanings to increment even if not initiated by backup exec.
