- Installation to the file server
- Backup to the TAPEDRIVE
- Backup to the DAS Server
- Deduplication Option
- Recovery system Agent
- Backup Client Option
The Question is?
- What product should they use for the Backup Exec?

- Is there any articel or link for the best configuration for those scenario above?

Hi,
So they'll need the following:
1. 1 x Media server license for Backup Exec 2010 R3.
2. 1 x Remote agent for Windows Servers for the DAS server (unless BE is being installed on this server in which case #1. above covers this).
3. 1 x Deduplication agent.
4. x-amount of RAWS agents for any remote agents NOT running an application like Exchange, in which case the Exchange agent includes a RAWS agent.
