Dear Team,

We have a custumer who need to install Backup Exec 2010, and they need to configure with the scenario:

The Question is?

What product should they use for the Backup Exec?
What licence they'll have?
Is there any articel or link for the best configuration for those scenario above?

Hi,

So they'll need the following:

1. 1 x Media server license for Backup Exec 2010 R3.

2. 1 x Remote agent for Windows Servers for the DAS server (unless BE is being installed on this server in which case #1. above covers this).

3. 1 x Deduplication agent.

4. x-amount of RAWS agents for any remote agents NOT running an application like Exchange, in which case the Exchange agent includes a RAWS agent.
