Backup Exec -The job missed it's scheduled start time by more than 24 hours.

Hi Friends,

My Servers backup continuously going to fail due to with following error:-

Backup Exec -The job missed it's scheduled start time by more than 24 hours.

How could i fix this issue permanently?

You got to investigate why the job did not start on time.  Perhaps you have too many jobs or your other jobs run too long, so this job cannot run in time.

Many a times, this happens because the storage device is not available for the backup job & the backup automatically cancels itself after a set period of time. Start off with looking @ the Devices to confirm if they are indeed available or not.
