backup exec sauvergarde de nas

Bonjour à tous,

Je me demande comment je peux sauvegarder mon NAS(NAS4FREE) avec le logiciel Backupexec 2010 R3 ? car le logiciel ne veut pas se connecter a un lecteur réseau

Le NAS est un vieux poweredge 2600 equipé de 2 Xeon et 4G. Comme stockage RAID 1 pour le systéme (2*146G en 10K) et RAID 5 pour le Stockage (6*300G en 10K)

Hi,

There are a couple of caveats for backing up to a NAS...see below:

However, I've checked out the specs of that software you are using and it is capable of iSCSI. Why not create iSCSI LUNs and present these to your media server? They appear as local disks and should get around your issue you are experiencing?

Yes I thought this protocol but can not be created if it already has SMB shares. The only way I've found is deleted NAS4FREE and install a Windows Server

Oui j'ai pensé à ce protocole mais il ne peut pas être créer s'il a déjà des partages SMB. Le seul moyen que j'ai trouver, est de supprimé NAS4FREE et d'installer un Serveur Windows
