This issue has been solved. See solution.

We are using Backup Exec System Recovery  6.5 on a Windows 2003 Exchange server to create Images.
We are also using Backup Exec 11d on an other server to write backups to tape.

Now we want to install a Backupexec Exchange Agent on the Windows 2003 server to create brick level backups of the mailboxes.

I would like to know if this is possible without the two products interfering with each other.

Kind Regards,

E_L

Yes, you can go ahead, there

Yes, you can go ahead, there is no problem with these products co-existing. You will need to install Backup Exec remote agent on this server, which you plan to backup. On the Backup Exec server, you would add the Exchange Agent license. The backup job should be configured using Backup Exec.

Please mark it a solution, if this is useful.
Thanks
