Hi,

I searched the whole site for a similar crash but only found different ones.

BESR Serber Edition V 7.01.21808
MS Windows Server 2003 SP2
No clustering

System crash caused a BSOD and memory dump creation. According to memory.dmp analysis, it's a crash related to symsnap.

I'd like to know if this particular crash signature has already been seen.

Thanks a lot,
Peter.

As you are running BESR 7.0.1

As you are running BESR 7.0.1 I would recommend that you update (via LiveUpdate) to 7.0.5.

I'm not saying that this is going to fix the problem but it should be your first step as 7.0.1 is a very old build.

Where can I get 7.05 without LiveUpdate

Hi Chris,

Thanks for your answer.

These systems are completely locked inside a private network and have no access to any type of liveupdate so that looks like a problem.

I looked through your download site and failed to find anything after 7.0.4 . Is there any other way to update ?

Peter.

Here you go:

Here you go: http://support.veritas.com/docs/335867.

The server will require a reboot once this has been applied.

Great !

Found it just before reading your post !

I read though the 7.0.2 to 7.0.5 release notes. Of course all patches are cumulative even though they're not repeated in the release notes ?

Thanks a lot  Chris !
Peter.
