Hello all;

I have been reading the forum and understand that BESR 8.5.3 is not perfectly compatible with Windows 7 and that image restores will not work properly. Anyway, my question is if anyone knows or has heard when Symantec is either releasing an update to version 8.5 or a new version to address this compatibility.

If anyone has any gossip or info to add, it would be greatly appreciated. I'm very happy overall with BESR and cannot wait to use it with Windows 7. For those of you in my boat, Microsoft's native Backup image tool can cover you for now until Symantec comes out with something.

Win 7 Complete PC Backup & Restore

Well, until BESR is fully compatible with Win 7, I'm guessing I'll be using the MS developped solution. What I don't like is that it images the entire partition, not just what is actually used.
