Backup EXEC System Recovery server edition giving ED800001A unable to find data at offset 0 in image

Dear all,

I am using SYMENTAC BACKUP EXEC SYSTEM RECOVERY SERVER EDITION 6.5, i have created a image using this and now i m trying to recover the Hardd disk using the image.
And i am getting this error. Please can anyone help me with this. On the net i find these solution, but i dont know if it is correct or not, And if it is socrrect how to upgrade my Backup EXEC 6.5 to latest.

First, verify if the image is valid. Use the RECOVERY POINT BROWSER function in BESR to open the image file. If it opens, then click on VERIFY and let that run. If it verifies fine, use the COPY feature to create a new duplicate image. If either of those steps fails, you may have a bad image.

NOTE: There is a function in BESR that allows you to VERIFY the image after the image is created succesfully. It is recommended that you enable this. It will hit your system resources a bit during the verify, but it is well worth the extra precaution.

Try to COPY the image file.

Try to COPY the image file. This will create a new image file from the old. If that fails, and you cannot extract any data from the image using Recovery Point Browser, there might not be anything we can do with that image.  It's not possible to repair an image file.

I know it does not help you now, but in subsequent builds since 6.5, improvements have been made to detect bad sectors/data on the drive even if the 'verify' option it turned off.
