Backup exec timeline.

Created: 05 Sep 2014 | 4 comments

Hi, I need to make a timeline from the backups of backup exec.

There is any easy/quick way to export the backup names with their start, stop and average enlapsed time. Also if that could be filtered depending on the storage output that would be great.

Hi Xavi,

BE has a number of canned reports...check them out, otherwise you can create a customised report containing this information.

Thanks!

Thanks, I'll be doing that.

btw, I know it doesn't concern symantec but do you recommend any specific software that I can import the report to create the timeline. I have +80 daily jobs and it will be a pain to make one (timeline) by hand.

Regards.

Offhand, no...but I never used BE's reporting functionality, preferring Solarwinds Backup Profiler instead.

I am sure if you do a Google search you will find reporting software might be able to trial if BE doesn't have what you want.

Thanks!
