Dear All,

I have undergoing this problem for the past one month and im puzzled currently.All my backup job failed and when i test out the Resource credentials its showing System Logon Account is succesful while the domain user login is failed and checked the username/password/policy is correct and should not be any issue on permission level.Im currently backing up SQL server only.Anyone has overcome this problem?Please help...

SQL Credential Failure

Hello,

1  : Try adding the SQL SA account in Backup Exec.
2  : Change the Credentials of SQL Server to the SA account in Backup job properties.

Its a best practice to have a "Support Contract" with Symantec...

Thanks for the comment, tried but the problem still persist.The SA account has the same permission as Admin login in my case, any other possible solution.

Make sure that this domain

Make sure that this domain user you have created in active directory, is a member of local administrators group on the SQL server. If you are using an internal SQL server account, and not domain account, then you should specify that account on on SQL Agent selection and not on the server.
