This issue has been solved. See solution.

How I configure Backup exec.cloud to backup locally first in a onsite storage server before to upload information to the cloud. Is a internal policy to mantain first our data locally before passing externally. Is necesary additional license in my server local?

Thanks

Morice

Hi,

Yes you can, check the doc below:

http://www.symantec.com/content/en/us/enterprise/f...

The assumption is that you would backup your data locally, and then duplicate to the cloud.

Thanks!

Thanks for your answer, but my doubt is if  can I backup locally without buying another BE license, aditional the backup exec.cloud.

I found the solution. In the computer profile there is a option "Enable as storage Server". When this option is enabled, the computer selected is configured as Storage server, and allows configure several options about local directory, notification, and computers associated. Next in the computer to backup appears a new option to send backup to the server and cloud, the server only, etc.
