Does Be have access to these files after the users retrived it? Have you been able to browse to that location from the Backup Exec Media Server and access those files.

Hi SymQNA,

Try addding the Vault service account in the backup exec and backup through that account

And

Restart the Enterprise Vault File Placeholder Service to update the local cache location when files are opened by the end user.

Please Reply back with the version of Enterprise vault you are using.

Regards

George Samuel

Hi Thank you for your reply.

Yes, can access those retrieved files via BE account from the backup exec media server.

Not backup failed for all retrieved files, just some of them, so if should add Vault service account in the backup exec?

Please help

Hi Symantec Support

found the attributes of backup failed files are A (Archived) and O (Offline),  but no problem for the files that have attribute of O (Offline)

Any idea ?

Please help.

It would be better if you open a support case and have the issue investigated. The support could try and reproduce the issue to ensure faster resolution.
