Backup failures

While cleaning up my the drives on my server, I accidently deleted the IDR folder on my D drive and now every single backup job is failing giving me the following error message in the log:

"Error copying the machine specific Intelligent Disaster Recovery information
to alternate data path D:\IDR Data\. The path could not be found."

I tried omitting this folder from my selections but I'm still getting this error... I also tried re-running the IDR wizard but can't seem to recreate the .DR file that was in that folder..

Can someone help me with this error?

Hello Vinny,

Please run the IDR configuration wizard and enter the path of the .dr file you re-created.

I thought and tried that already and it doesn't ask me to bring me to that part of the wizard, instead it just prompts me if I want to recreate the ISO or update the disk set...

Hi,

You may try performing a "repair install" for Backup Exec.

Repairing Backup Exec 9.x and 10.x for Windows Servers

hope it helps.
