Backup job run for too long

Hello,

I have 2003 sever std without EXg, with 2010 R2 sp1 LTO2.

at first a backup my server with Daliy Full..was take allmost 5 Hours for 150GB

Byte count          : 147,971,589,082 bytes Job rate            : 696.95 MB/Min (Byte count of all backup sets divided by Elapsed time for all backup sets)

Files               : 284,310 Directories         : 61,807 Skipped files       : 0 Corrupt files       : 0 Files in use        : 0

I change to Daily backup Incremental with reset archive bit...taking 12 hours for 12-13gb, the last verify ended at 11:48 pm

Files               : 8,084
Directories         : 62,125
Skipped files       : 0
Corrupt files       : 0

1) Try changing to the modified time method and use the USN journal.  Do run a full backup after you have switched method.

 
2) You should upgrade to BE 2010 R3 which is the latest version. Your existing licence keys will work.  You can download BE 2010 R3 from either the fileconnect site or

After your upgrade, do not forget to run LiveUpdate a couple of time to update it to SP2 and the latest hotfixes.
 
After you have upgraded to R3, push out the remote agent again.
