Icon for "Backup log contains corrupt data" displayed on Exchange Snapshot Full

Exchange 2007 SP1
Full Backup of new Exchange server shows as successful, and displays the right amount of data as having been backed up for the Information Store. However, when trying to expand the backup to test restores, I see the red icon indicating "Backup log contains corrupt data" and it will not expand to show me the mailboxes or items within the store.
Has anyone come across this before and know the fix?

Have you looked at patching your installation of Backup Exec?
Furthermore, are you using AOFO when backing up Exchange?
