Quick query regarding my backup server.
Server A backs up to Server B.
Server C controls the backup and has the Management app installed.
When server A is backing up to server B, what load on server C (if any) is there.
I assume the data doesn't go via server C?

The data will be transferred
The data will be transferred from source (server A) to destination (server B). It will not go via server C.
Server C just does the management part:
* Pushes out job configuration (changes to jobs etc)
* Provides history of backups
etc etc
In other words, there is not much in terms of 'load' on server C. If you are using the indexing part of BESRM then that will place more load in terms of processor but you did not mention that in your post.
Hope that helps.

Server C only contains the
Server C only contains the management part which initiates the backup process, the backup will not go through server C, so there will be a negligible load on Server C.
