Hi All,
I need to verify job status. To accomplish that am running bemcmd -o21 -j test -e, I am using in the batch file and trying to retrieve the job status. But this command always returning -1. What I am feeling backup exec updates the status after running post job command. How do I fix this issue?
Thanks in advance for the help

There is no way to fix this problem.
If you need to know the status of the job, you can set up your job to send you e-mail notifications. See this document

Thanks for the reply.
We were able to achieve by following process.
Within the backup exec after backup completion we created a batch file which will create windows shecduler task which will trigger with one minute dealy. The batch file invoked by window scheduler would get the status from Backup exec.
Thanks
