Hi

I will suggest first of all to upgrade to BE2010 R3 which is the most stable version of backup exec and this upgrade would be a free upgrade and also in place upgrade keeping all your jobs, configuration and catalogs preserved.

BE 2010 R3  Installer -http://trialware.norton.com/files/fc/Backup_Exec_2010_13.0.5204_MultiPlatforms_Multilingual_DVD.iso

(Same can be used for SBS)

Once you upgrade to BE2010 r3 then using live update install sp2 and other updates and then upgrade remote agents on your remote server once you update BE2010 r3 completely and run backup later to check how that works.

Hope that helps

Thanks

Thanks Backup_Exec, but I have a project to upgrade all of my BE to 2012 version, but I need to upgrade my NetBackup ambient first.

I have Netbackup 7.1.0.4 in my headquarter and backupexec in my six branches.

I must to upgrade NBU to 7.5 and BE to 2012.

Thank you.
