Backupexec 2012 GRT backup don't execute granular on disk e:

HI

I have a VMware virtual server W2k8 R2 with two disk C and E, the backup exec execute the backup with GRT without error but the file level restore of disk E don't contains the file.

The disk E: is dynamic and have more extens

BE 2012 have problem with dynamic disk ?

Hello there,

Is Server_1.vmdk and Independent disk?

Backup Exec does not support Independent Disk. Please check it in the Setting of the VM.

Is E: a GPT partition as well as being dynamic?

Is DFSR being used on this VM ?

And applications such as Exchange, SQL etc on the other disk ?

i resolved .....

I have add a disk basic without extens and copied entire disk.... now save correctly

Is this a vmdk running in Independent Disk mode that has a GPT partition with Window Dynamic Disk, and that the VM so happens to be housing DFSR, Exchange, SQL and the like?
