Can you post the full error up so we can see what process is flagging this error.

I assume this is for a backup? What type of backup is it? Standard, VM, Database?

What is the client OS? Windows, Unix, Linux?

Setup bpbkar logging on the client and set logging level to maximum

I suspect that it is hitting a corrupt file which it cannot get past

You need to enable logs and post them when the error is seen.

On client: bpbkar

Also check system resources on the client as soon as error is seen. This is probably related to system resources. /var/log/messages may help if 'system call' errors is seen.

Please verify that logs are enable on media server as well: bptm and bpbrm.

If you post logs, rename them to relflect process name (e.g. bpbkar.txt) and post as attachments.

Did you setup the logging for this? Do you still need some help?
