Here's what the idea is:
We have a custom resource which is a list of uses for assets such as "Primary Workstation" or "Research Lab", etc. We have set up an association between this resource and all Assets and in the console we can use a list or a picker to choose and associate a use (from the previous resource) to an asset. This works pretty well. The issue now is that we can't seem to get the custom resource into Barcoder to allow items to be chosen and the association created unless we sync ALL assets. The association is there because we added the custom dataclass to the Sync Profile but the list is empty unless we run in an include all assets to sync. We've even tried a rule to sync all computers and each item in the custom resource with no luck.
It may be that we have to change from a resource to a simple dataclass but I like the idea of the association so that it is more simple to run a report on all assets that are set as "Primary Workstations". Any thoughts and suggestions would be appreciated, even in changing how we might be capturing and associating this specific data.
