What is the cost of upgrade to BE12.5?
If you have a valid support contract than Symantec will provide you free upgrade to the latest version.
Which is the latest version of BE?
BE2012 SP1a is the latest version of Backup Exec.
Note: You cannot perform an inplace upgrade from BE11d to BE2012 however you can directly
upgrade from BE11d (7170) to BE2010 and then from BE2010 to BE2012
