  • 1.  Be able to replace client laptops within license limit of Symantec Endpoint Protection?

    Hi Symantec Community,

We installed Symantec Endpoint Protection manager on our server, then clients connect to network and be deployed, updated data. It is working normally till now.

We bought totally 41 clients license. What happen if we now replace some user laptops within 41 units? It will be deployed and updated data normally for those new laptops?

    Thank you.

Is this for SEPM Enterprise? If so, yes, it will update fine. If overdeployed the SEPM will warn you but won't stop updating. I would suggest deleting any clients from the SEPM that are not being used to free up those licenses.

When you will be replaced any license ensure you will be delete for particular system in SEPM.

Check This thread for license over deployment cause.

    Thanks for your response.

That will work best! Keeps you in your license count.
