BE2010R3 SP2 still showing in LiveUpdate even after installation
Created: 08 Nov 2011 | 3 comments
I have upgraded the management console and now it's running BE2010R3 SP3 (now called BE13) when I run live update it's finding:
Symantec Backup Exec (TM) 13.0
Symantec Backup Exec (TM) 2010 R2
When I look as add/remove programs it's only listing Symantec Backup Exec (TM) 2010 R3 13.0.5204
How can I clean out the Symantec Backup Exec (TM) 2010 R2 from Live update?
I've ran BeUpdateOps.exe -AddBE -OptIn & BeUpdateOps.exe -AddBE -OptOut a number of times and it still appears.

Hi
You can go to add remove programs & uninstall Live update & then reinstall it back from BE 2010 R3 installation disk & check
Thanks

Hello,
This Could Be due to registration with Livepdate and the backup exec.
reregister backup exec with Liveupdate By running beupdateops
from command Lin
Change directory to the install path of backup exec
(i.e C:\program files\Symantec\backup exec)
BeUpdateOps.exe -AddBE -OptOut
rerun Liveupdate and check.
regards
