BeackupExec 11d NT4 Agent unable to install

Hello,
we have just installed 11d and tried to install the - unsupported - NT4 agent from the BACKUP_EXEC_11D_FOR_WINDOWS_SERVERS_LINUX-UNIX-MAC-NT4_AGENTS-Package
If we execute setup.exe under ./RANT32NT4/, a messagebox apprears
"... not supported by Microsoft and ... support from Symantec with best effort"
(translated from German)
and the installation stops. The NT4-agent 10d works with BackupExec 10d on this maschine, but if we try to use this 10d-NT4-agent with 11d, it states, we have to upgrade this to 11d, with the same behavior from msiexec /p RANT32NT4/RAWS.MSP.
Any idea to fix this (maybe a parameter passed to setup.exe)?

Hi!
Have the exact same behaviour and problem. 10d works fine on an NT4 computer but can not be used together with 11d. Also tried to install the NT4 client from RALUS cd but it doesn't work...

Is there a way around the exception error it produces on 11d? The error says that it is for the previous version and needs to be upgraded.

Bob, there is no way to supress this message since it is warning that you are in an unsupported configuration.
