I have a user who is running Endpoint Encryption 8.2.0 on Windows XPSP3 on a Dell D630 Latitude.

In a previous thread someone suggested pressing F5 at startup and disabling audio cues. There is no path to disabling audio cues fromt the F5 menu. Can someone enlighten me?

This has to be a pre-windows issue as it is using the bios speaker for the beeps. Please assist.

Pressing F5 toggles the audio cues on/off. It doesn't present a menu.

Pressing F5 when? During boot? If you press F5 during boot it presents the safe mode options menu.

no, before that..   When you're at the pre-boot auth screen prior to authentication.

This feature is described in the windows user guide.   In my version its in appendix c.
