Hello,

Does anyone of you ever tried to restore a vhd from a Windows Server Backup with the BESR 2010 CD and the restore anywhere option?
I have tried it on the same machine on an other machine ...., but it did not work :(
black screen, no windows logo at the boot process.

best regards
Andreas

Why would you want to try to restore via the BESR "SRD" and use the Windows Server Backup Image ?

Windows server backup can pretty much do a baremetal restore on most systems (servers)

If you want to restore a Machine backed up via BESR 2010 to a VM, you can either convert it to a vhd and create a VM with that.

it don`t helps, because i don`t have a System Reserved partition, it placed on main partition with Windows instalation.
