BESR 8.5 ¿supports Itanium?

Can I use BESR 8.5 for recovery servers with Itanium?.

 

I have read on a former post for BESR 7.0 version https://forums.symantec.com/syment/board/message?board.id=111&message.id=791 that this will be possible in future versions.

I'm sorry but BESR 8.5 doesn't support Itanium.

I chatted with a Symantec

I chatted with a Symantec staff person and they said 8.5.5 does support itanium ?  I was able to backup a data disk but not the system disk?

Always refer to the SCL for

Always refer to the SCL for questions like these:

ftp://exftpp.symantec.com/pub/support/products/Bac...

As you can see, Itanium is not listed. It may work but as it has never been tested, Symantec cannot guarantee that it will work.
