If you contact technical

If you contact technical support, they can supply you with an uninstall batch file that will remove all traces of BESR from the system. Why are you not using ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS for uninstalling the sfw?

add/remove programs

Thanks for your response;

I am using add/remove programs

- but it leaves some files in the   /program files/common files/symantec shared
registry  LM/ Software/ Symantec
and all users/ app data/ symantec

all these have left overs after a add/remove programs, so  clean that out to ensure anything that "could" be corrupt/bad is removed

thank you for the information, i actually found the "un-install.bat"
it should be the same as your referring to, i will test it over the next day or two

thanks
