BESR 8.5.6 pulled from Fileconnect ???

This issue has been solved. See solution.
I am having some issues with BESR 8.5.6 so I checked Fileconnect for an updated version but I see that 8.5.6 has been pulled and 8.5.5 is back on Fileconnect. Is there some serious flaw in 8.5.6 that caused it to be removed? Will there be an updated 8.5.7 version posted?

There are plans to release 8.5.7 shortly to address this issue.

Thanks Chris - the password
Thanks Chris - the password problem is the main reason I checked for an update to 8.5.6. I tried to open a backup and could not get the password correct. I went back into the job details and it only showed 5 "dots" as if the password was truncated. I tried the first 5 characters of the password and that did not work. I re-entered the password and the next two backups appeared to be OK, but apparently the password (internally) will at some point get corrupted.
