  • 1.  Best place to look for setup information on Alteris?

    Hello,

    We currently don't have an imaging soloution and we need one. I've set up an isolated test enviorment with a 2012 R2 server (Domain/DHCP/DNS) and two client PC's one with windows 8.1  the other with windows 7 connected to the test domain.

    I spoke to symatec over the phone and recieved a trial for Alteris 6.9 and after registry hacks and chages to .ini's i was able to get it running, however it does not support EUFI boot enviorments which means it will not fit our needs

    I am new to altiris/symantec and i would like to set up a test enviorment with the latest version of alteris DS. I'm just looking for some guidance, and documentation as i've been lead in the wrong direction so far.

    Here is something that I have from within the forums. I had this in a master word doc for myself. It is based off of 7.1 but things may not have changed for 7.5 on the installation of the SMP.
