Best practice for backing up and recovering MS Exchange Server

Can anybody help?

I would like to koow the best practice for backing up my MS Exchange 2003 Server?

Should the worst happen, and the server dies, how do you recover it from the backup exactly?

Hi,

 

With the Exchange agent you can backup the Information Store while live, do a restore while live, and have GRT-based backups restores.

Load the agent, and create a selection list containing the System State and Information Store. I suppose you could include the Exchange installation directory, but BE will automatically exclude the *.edb, *.stm etc. files by default.
