    Hi together

     

    Im searching now the whole day for experience with SWS and his environment. How should I setup my IT environment to minimize the network traffic when I have 7000 clients and something about 100 application which I would like to virtualize? Any Ideas? Ive have no idea.. really!

    Hello Deki,

    Could you please provide more details on the proposed environment?

    1. Target Server OS, Service Pack, Architecture (x86/x64) and Edition.
    2. Target Endpoint OS, Service Pack, Architecture (x86/x64) and Edition.
    3. AD Environment (AD Server OS, SP, Architecture, Forest levels, domains, single domain / multi domain,)
    4. Database Product, Database Machine OS, SP, Architecture, Edition.
    5. Antivirus Product, Version, SP / patch / hotfix information.
    6. Proposed environment: Physical / Virtual. If virtual do you plan to use VDI architecture?

    which network architecture & distribution: all in the same MAN, multiple sites using WAN, which bandwidth? Numbers of applications are impacting the repository space disk usage, not the architecture.

    One front end server can distribute 400 simultaneous clients (in http streaming), but this can distribute thousand clients, not all ask in the same time.

    If multiple remote sites with few machines, a local SMB share can avoid to deploy a Front end server each smallest sites.
